Software, AI and automation, built in-house

We’re a billing company with its own engineering team. The people who build the automation behind our billing also build software for practices, groups and healthcare companies.

What we build

  • Workflow automation. Eligibility checks, claim status polling, payment posting and denial routing that run on a schedule. Our billing automation page explains what we automate and what we deliberately leave to people.
  • AI tools. Reading faxes, referrals, EOBs and payer letters into structured data, classifying denials, finding patterns across thousands of claims, and drafting summaries and letters for a person to review and approve.
  • Integrations. Connections to EHR and practice management systems through their APIs, HL7 and FHIR interfaces, and clearinghouse EDI files, so data moves between systems without manual re-entry.
  • Reporting and dashboards. Revenue, A/R and denial reporting across providers and locations, updated automatically instead of compiled in spreadsheets.
  • Large systems. Portals, internal platforms and data pipelines built to handle millions of records, for organizations that have outgrown their tools.

How we use AI

AI reads, sorts and drafts. People decide. Nothing that affects a claim, a payment or a patient is sent without a person checking it. AI runs on your data for your work, and we never use client data to train models, ours or anyone else’s.

How a project works

We start by looking at the work as it’s done today and measuring where the time goes. We then agree a scope with clear milestones, build in short stages you can test, and hand over the system with documentation. You own the code and the data, and anything that touches patient information is built under a signed Business Associate Agreement, with access controls, encryption and audit logs.

Common questions

Do you only build software for billing clients?

No. Billing clients get it as part of the service, and we also take on software projects on their own for practices, groups and healthcare companies.

Does AI make decisions about our claims or patients?

No. AI reads documents, sorts work and drafts text. A person reviews anything that affects a claim, a payment or a patient before it goes out.

Who owns the software you build for us?

You do, including the code and the data. If you later move it to another team, the documentation goes with it.
